So theres not a whole lot of info or tutorial or manual on this so I will divulge a few things that I have learned over the last day or so of playing.1. You have to worship a god to use the 'tatoo' shop. It is directly related to which god you worship, you will always need the same pairings of runes for the tattoos of the same god.2.
RuneStone Keeper Tutorial How To Play. Andor Laggor. Unsubscribe from Andor Laggor. Get YouTube TV Best of YouTube Music Sports. Bonus #2) - Delver, Runestone Keeper, Stone Soup by Uruluke. Rogueverse (Day 10, Bonus #1) - Spelunky by Uruluke.
The sorceress is worthless, no. Really, dont even bother playing as her, she is fragile, has a horrible passive, and will just cause you frustration.3. The God of War is probably your best bet for longevity at first, he is the.best. starting delve god. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE of using the 'Treasure God' he costs 300 coins, provides little to no benefit and will depete your gold used to level up the temple passives.4.

If you see a 'new' god in a delve (one you have not unlocked) then betray your current god to unlock that statue.5. The god of death (reaper) is the best god, period. No drawbacks, no penalties, and provides a relatively strong bonus.
(He only appears on floor 15+ it seems, so delve until ya get him)6. The vampire is the strongest charachter, ditch the adventurer when you find him, there is a combination with the vampire and certain equipment which makes the game infinately easier. But I wont divuge all my secrets, ill leave that one for yall to figure out with my hint.Vampire + Reaper God + Certain Equipment = near immortal.7.
You will occasionally come across a floor with a billion mages/vampires/ranged things destroying you, save those knives, blue crystals, and ankhs for those floors and pray.8. Certain items are just plain lifesavers, the hourglass is #1 of these, you can full health swap a newly discovered monster using it, ie - your health is at 2 its health is at 40 you use hourglass you have max health it has 2, kill it.9. There are certain gold ranged monsters with an attack = to your chars life, THE ONLY WAY to survive is to ankh and kill them or knife them or crystal freeze them immediately, pay attention when ya enter a new floor or a mini dungeon.10. Generally - Its not worth buying 200-300gp equipment from a shop. SELL EVERYTHING, gold persists thru death and unlocks passive perks. You will die.
YOU WILL DIE. I repeat YOU WILL DIE.11. Kill everything, yes, thats right, everything that moves dies. I disagree on the strength-only strategy. Putting some points into hearts can in the long ron cause your health to balloon considerably, since the +1 bonus applies to both healing wounds and boosting max health. So five points in stamina means +5 max health per heart. At a certain point it becomes worth putting points into stamina rather than strength, since putting it only into one stat creates diminishing returns (e.g., 5 - 10 STR is a 100% increase, but 25 - 30 STR is an only 20% increase, for the same number of points). Although you probably want to put a few points into stamina early to maximize the bonus. The only case where a STR only strategy may be better is if using the vampire, since damage = healing with his ability.
But for the rest, they get more milage out of stamina. Originally posted by:I disagree on the strength-only strategy. Good understanding, it's neceaasry to avoid risks from low health. The strategies I posted are for the normal 20 floor dungeon and are my initial impressions. Originally posted by:I do disagree strongly that 'reveal additionaly X tiles' is a 'must-have!' Imho - avoide it like a plague as it cuts short your soul gain (you DONT receive soul resource for additionally revealed tiles!), it walks blindly even into traps previously found and marked, it uncovers monsters which synergize terrifically.
In other words - a sure and quick way to death.Definitely agree with this one. If I have a choice,I always avoid items which reveal extra tiles. They really make the strategy of using tiles to gain hp or mana less useful, which is bad because it's one of the best ways to win.
